1st time cruisers on Destiny in November!

We've never cruised before - leaving Miami November 16 - naussea, grand turk and half moon cay.
Any advice??? can we bring soda on board, which excursions, best places to eat, etc?

I was on Destiny 10 years ago for my 40th b-day, and yes we packed soda and alcohol(in plastic you dont want broken bottles).. but those were not the ports so I have no help for you there :-) I am going on my second cruise for my 50th b-day Nov 15th- Eastern Carribean. Have a great time..
