Aerosol hairspray

I read somewhere that you cannot take aerosol cans on Carnival cruises? Is this true? I really don't like pump hairspray.

i highly doubt that information is true, the salons on the ships use aerosal hairspray all the time, and you can buy it from the salon too. I have never had a problem bringing hairspray onboard it could be that the information pertains to the airlines. I would have your ta double check just to be on the safe side

That is also a new one for me, haven't heard that you can't take hairspray on the ship. Its possible it has to do with the airlines than cruiseships....

You can bring an aerosol hair spray on your cruise ship. The confusion may be that, depending on the size, you are not allowed to have aerosol cans in your checked airline baggage. Even this is confusing because TSA does allow "personal size" in the checked baggage but no one has really defined what size is really "personal size."

If you're flying, don't bring the hair spray. If you aren't, go ahead an pack it.

I think someone mixed up the airline vs cruiseline on this issue. We've never had a problem with the cruiseline.
