I would like to bring along a compact handheld steamer on my next voyage. I've seen a lot of them being advertised but some have bad reviews. Does anybody know of a good portable steamer for occasional usage? Thanks
I just asked for one for Christmas to bring on my cruise in the spring. It is an italian brand - "italsteam". Try italsteam.com. The key is not to forget to put salt into the water. It is awesome, I love it.
I would recommend the Joy Mangano Steamer. I got one as a gift (along with her amazing hangers) and love it!!
However, on a cruise I never take it. I usually hang my items in the bathroom and take a hot shower, or run the shower while I get ready. Works great and takes up no room in my bags!

HSN Joy Mangano's My Little Steamer is awesome. And not expensive. She has 2. Sometimes you can get a deal that includes both. Even has a bag for travel.

We bought a cheap one at Walmart that we've been taking with us for most of our cruises. It's lasted 10 years and is still going strong.
