I guess I'm first in. We do need to make a distinction between kids being loud and having a good time (okay in the right place) and kids that are being downright obnoxious in the wrong places.

The only one of your choices that I've really had a problem with are long lines. I just came back from Norwegian Epic and really wish that when you made reservations you could do reserved seating.

It wasn't really a problem for Legends or Blue Man Group because there really isn't a bad seat in the theatre but for Cirque you need to line up about an hour before hand to get a decent seat. We got there 20 minutes before the show and were some of the last in line and had a terrible seat in the booth at the back of the Cirque tent.

I'm voting for loud passengers but not in the middle of the night but rather people who constantly talk during shows or movies .

Loud passengers who seem oblivious to the fact that they are disturbing others--whether it be talking in the show lounge, coming down the hallways at night or what ever. Kids I can understand--grown ups I can't-- It always brings to mind the old question --which is worse-- disturbing others and not caring or disturbing others and being so ignorant that you don't know you're disturbing others !!
I surely don't expect people to creep around like a mouse and whisper but at 1-2 A.M. coming down the hallways talking , yelling, etc surely indicates one or the other.

My biggest pet peeve was not listed .... having to get off the ship and let someone else have my cabin.

We just got back from a cruise on the Carnival Fantasy. My worst pet peave was that they did not enforce the non-smoking areas. We were always having to change seats to get away from inconsiderate smokers standing around the lido deck on the non-smoking side. Only once did I see a waiter ask someone to leave. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke.

The most annoying off the list for my hubby and I is

"Loud passengers in the middle of the night."

I'm an insomniac so I already have trouble sleeping. If an adult passenger is making noise and awakes me up. I'm up that is it. Adults should know better. Plus we don't cruise when the kids are out of school (Spring Break, Holiday, & summer break) so we don't see many kids on the ship.

Did not vote as I have never really had a problem with any of the options. For me the biggest larger groups at the Lido trying to take all of the chairs at the tables, then my next would be the non smoaker who is in the smoking area and complains about the smoke, if you are going to be in the smoking area don't complain about the smokers, yes I have seen this happen on almost every cruise we have been on.

Why didn't you just speak up and ask THEM to move?

"Excuse me, I'm sure you didn't realize, but this is the non smoking side of the deck. Would you mind terribly to smoke in the smoking area, please. Thanks, I really appreciate it."

Or speak to the cruise director or other appropriate person? I know it's humbug, but if you don't speak up, the appropriate people might not know it's an issue.

Crazysis is a walking party. I'm that quiet one of the family and I'm not that quiet. C-sis can talk to a wall for an hour and have a great time. We had a blast on the Carnival Freedom. I only lost her once, she went to the bathroom and couldn't find her way back. We went searching for her and find her at the deck party. Which should have been the first place I looked.

The only thing that really gets me is people who save seats at the Shows and Theatres, etc. I understand if someone is meeting you and you're saving a seat for them for 5 or 10 minutes. But if the seat is still being held 20 to 30 minutes into a show it's just rude!

I guess my biggest pet peeve is the people who push and shove in the buffet lines... There is plenty of food people... good grief.. A lady a few cruises ago actually took silverware off my husbands tray for herself... We just stood there and looked at each other..

Like one of the above posters, my choice is not on the list. It's non-smokers who sit in the smoking area and complain and gripe. Hey, you have a lot of other ship areas and last I looked, smoking was still legal.
