Good Morning Gang!!

First off, great news TM and enjoy your cruise!!!

It's going to be a great day despite the carpy weather we're having at present. Have been at work since 6:30 but with the weather we've lost power approx 4 times and I've had to re-boot the computer and re-type several e-mails (yuck). Supposedly, the weather will clear up by early afternoon and the rest of the week and weekend should be perfect!!

The big boss (CG) is giving 59 min today- which means we can leave 59 min earlier than we normally do without charge to leave. If we leave 60 mins. earlier we get charged - anyway taking advantage of it and then will be back tomorrow to work 1/2 day and then my holiday weekend starts!

Hope everyone is having a great day and beginning of the "unofficial start" of summer!!! Nothing big planned here, just lots of cleaning and then on Monday having some family for a cookout. Can't do much with the cost of fuel !! :evil:

TM have a great cruise, have a long island ice tea for me.

I bought gas today for the first time since my cruise it was $3.96 per gallon.

It cost me over $50 to fill the tank and I have a commute car.

I saw it as high as $3.94 for fuel today. I was talking to my brother up in Jersey and he said it is from $3.74-$3.79/gal...And, they pump the gas for you in Jersey...spoiled brats...

don't feel bad - for gas lowest grade to premium runs 3.39 -3.99 a gal and then diesel is another story it's at 4.59 a gal. now - and that depends upon what part of the state you are in!

I need to add something I forgot to mention...The prices I were talking about, was for regular grade. The price of premium was $4.34/gal.

Yes, diesel is a different story. Here at work on Wed, we paid $4.6357/gal I haven't seen todays price as of yet, but I will keep you posted as soon as it gets delivered.

$3.96 was for regular gas I can't afford premium.

$3.39 for gas seems to cheap now.

I noticed an increase in food prices as well. One can of Campbell's double noodle soup $1.75.

Yep, with the price of fuel going up - everything is getting hit I agree about the price of groceries going up - I'm glad we have a garden and our own beef - that saves a bit. I went to the store yesterday and came out with two bags (the green bags that everyone seems to have now) anyway, two bags and it $90 - we're changing the way we travel, now looks like we'll change the way we eat as well.

Also heard on the news last night that the cost of vinyl siding is going to be going up as well.
