Good Morning Gang - just read the posts so I'd be caught up on everything -

weekend here was carpy!! rain everyday, and it did not clear off until mid afternoon (1-2 pm) by that time I didn't feel like doing anything - we did manage a late afternoon cook-out on Monday.

I guess I thought today was still part of the holiday as I overslept but did
manage to scramble and get to work on time!! Hope that's not an indication of how my day will be going!! Lots to catch up on- the e-mails don't stop just because it's a holiday.

Someone came onto the cruise with a cold and got a lot of people sick. I'm feeling much better today. The cough is lingering on aside from it's pretty much gone.

I feel your pain, in Feb. I came back from a cruise really sick - I thought I was dying!! I've never been that sick. We came back on the 17th and I was not totally better until the 1st week of April.

Bahama how have you and your daughter been?

CQ the kiddies counting down the days for the end of the school year? We have 7 days left. My middle daughter who just turned 13 has been changing so much. She's really a free spirit doing her own thing but she has been starting to primp more before school.

It was such a busy week and missed everyone. DH's mother passed away plus we did get the boat in this past weekend. We could not have asked for a better day for the boat.

During the cruise we had a gift exchange and we recieved two bottle of Catawba wine. I loved it. The White Catawba was so tasty. The problem it's only availible in Lake Erie Ohio. So I'm spitting distance from 100 wineries but the wine I want is in Ohio. Oh well I will have to use my special internet powers and get me some wine.

We have a 32' Carver yacht in Sandusky. What you see in these shots is what we get to look at every visit we make. I think we are on the cam 'Battery Park East' not too far from the entrance to the marina where the gas fill up station is. I love it up there. http://www.funcoast.com/funcamhigh Not too sure on how often we will be going up with these gas prices. We were so shocked in the amount of traffic we thought we'd encounter last weekend. You would think Memorial Day, Cedar Point, and Indoor Water Parks it would be BUSY but the traffic was nothing. No different than an off season/locals only day. Sad!!!

Good Afternoon Gang, can't believe that I'm now just posting for the day!!
What a day it's been, it started out with me spilling water all over the counter in the restroom at work - and then I had to clean it up - the counters are old so the water automatically drips to the floor and collects between the basins - so I thought - " it's going to be one of those days" and sure enough I was right. It's been a crazy non-stop day.

My boss is having a retirement ceremony this afternoon at 4:30, three of my foreign officers are having a farewell ceremony next week and everyone wants everything now. Since I'm timekeeper everyone decided today that they forget to put down ot, or time off or something so I've had to make changes in the system - it's just been a day from H____!!

I'm ready to go home and drink everything in sight!!

Noid - in response to your question - I've not spoken to my daughter since last week - I'm sure she's doing fine. I spoke with my son-in-law about my grandson's 1st b-day. Making last minute plans etc. They will be travelling here the end of June to have the celebration with family and friends.

Well, I guess it's back to the grindstone - I'll try to do better tomorrow!

Cruisenoid the gas prices are a huge problem. They decrease you income and increase your monthly expenses. Because last month it was cheaper to go to work. This month it's more expensive, only your income stayed the same. It's a bummer.

Scale ingredients to servings
1 oz rum
1 oz vodka
1 oz tequila
1 oz gin
1 oz triple sec
1 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz Malibu® coconut rum

Pour all ingredients over ice in a very tall glass.

wow!! guess its pickled liver for her then. i prefer mixed drinks myself. if i drink shots i usually have a chaser with it. although i wouldnt suggest bacardi with a beer chaser cause they dont mix well in the long run.

Good Morning Gang !! Hoping today is a little more quiet than yesterday - I have a lot to do but working with different gov't agencies for my particular job makes it hard to get work done - you all know how the gov't is!! I love my job but if certain areas don't supply the information I can't do my job.

Oh well, what ever the day is I'm going to be like Crooozin and have a double of whatever I drink!!! may even try out for Tequila Queen!!
