Good Morning!!! For such a short work week from the holiday, this has been one of the LONGEST weeks!!!!! :evil:

Bahama - 1st birthday!!!!! That is going to be so much fun. As a tradition, we would take a small cake and give it them to have their first taste and see what they would do. My oldest dove right into it, the middle very carefully with one finger ate the icing, and the youngest just wasn't too interested so we took her finger put it in the icing and then reassured her it was ok to do it again.

Crazysis - you are telling me. My oldest gets on that phone or computer and you can not get her off of it. It is getting down right ridiculous to get her off of either one. Thank goodness, I do have two computers in the house. Theirs and MINE.

Kat - we are going back up to the boat again this weekend. I think I'll suggest going up friday night after work that way we have a full Saturday and partial Sunday.

Well, survived the day (I think) and it's almost time to go home- another 45 min. and I'm outta here. Thought I'd take the time to do some posting and see how the rest of the world is doing!

Anyway, tomorrow is Friday and it can't get here soon enough. So I'm hoping for a a good day - I'd better get back to work and clear the desk -

tgif should be open bar. after surviving the work week i feel that everyone should drink whatever they want, however many they want, or heck even if they want to mix and match drinks although that usually results in a realllllyyy badd hang over the next day. my mom tried to teach me not to mix my alcohols but alas i sometimes like to just try different drinks to see which one i like and how can i do that if i dont try them one after another? of course after about the 5th drink they kinda start all tasting the same and heck if i can ever remember the name of the one i liked best the next morning.

now this sounds like my type of cocktail i think ill finish out the week with a couple of these babies. (kat your bar is stocked right?)

Long Island Iced Tea (STRONG)

Qty. Ingredients
2 oz. Rum
2 oz. Tequilla
2 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Gin
2 oz. Triple Sec
2 oz. Pure Grain Alcohol
6 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix
6 oz. Coke

Glass type: Wine Goblet

Directions: in a large glass mix the alcohol over ice. Then add the sweet and sour. Last fill the cup with coke and stir. Try not to consume more than 4 or you might feel bad the next morning. (gee do ya think?)

Crooozin - it's Friday, this is the day to open your eyes - the weekend is here!!!! time to have fun!!

Looks like rain here today (but what's new?!) I think the work at work has calmed down a bit so I shouldn' t be terribly stressed today. Now the work that has to be done at home is a totally different story - but at least with that I can make it fun if I want !! Well, I'd better get started so I can get out of here at a decent time. Hey Gang!! The day is almost over but the last hr has been HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Anyway, because someone in a gov't office in another area of the country did not do something so one of my officers could travel, we're now trying to play God and everything else so he can travel on Monday!!! Has to do with funding etc. it's a mess and I'm ready to reach out and let her know what I think about her!!

And, the weather is about to go south, we're under a tornado watch for the rest of the day/evening. The river that runs on the east side of town is about ready to go out of it's banks, plus all the other low lying areas will get hit with high water as well.

Ok, now to something better. Talked to DD today and she's doing fine - she said that her DH said that the baby is now taking his first steps and he's video taped him so he's sending that to her. Plus he's starting to gibber a little, when daddy says what does the duck say, Noah says" cack, cack - so he's going to try to get that on video as well for her. So needless to say, talking to my DD made my day - hadn't talked with her for a week, so Mom was getting a bit nervous!

Ok, better get back to work and see if we got money to send the officer on his way.

i left work early and got into work late...I only had to be at work for 7 hours today. I only worked for about an hour of it...Ahhhh what a nice day it was.

good morning everyone. its 430am over here and the kids finally fell asleep. my son had what started as two kids spending the night but somehow i wound up with extras. now how did that happen? they ranged in age from 8-14 years old and i would swear that they moms dosed em with sugar and caffeine before releasing them into my custody.

I have been out pressure washing the pool deck, screen enclosure and back lanai. Now it is over and done with....Ahhhhhhh time to relax!!!

Hi gang I'm back from a wonderful cruise. We loved the Liberty of the Seas. great staff outstanding entertainmemt, good food.

I will tell you more about it later on.

I will say this, I liked it well enough to book another cruis on RCCL.
