When United or Delta is not available, I fly American.

Good points: Very clean cabins and seem to be newer (I always thought that Continental was a little worn), plus the attendants seem friendlier than most.
Bad point: Food is not fresh and their magazine is lacking.

CQ, my business puts me away from home for at least 1/2 the year...in 2, 3 week spurts.
I like to sit in the airport and watch people....especially in the major hubs.

American is alittle cheaper but they charge for all bags  so it would cost the same as continental.

I heard recently someone was cruising and never received their suitcase. However the suitcase appeared in the airport on the way home after the cruise!!
I could not imagine having no clothes for a week.

Thanks Gang!! 8)
WE have been on American, Delta US air Northwest and Contnental and they all have been cutting back on services and nickel and diming you like crazy. All I can say is you get lousy service no matter which airline you fly.

OK thanks guys!!!! I just worry about my bags making it to Miami all the other stuff I could deal with.

Hmmm.. I found Delta for 199. including taxes to Mia this is the cheapest so far.

Hey TM do you ever use JFK airport?? I always do Newark but Delta is out of JFK.

I gotta disagree with Manuel.
When I fly to Japan with United...I feel very appreciated. Same with Delta to Orlando.
He has a point when it comes to short flights of 2 hours or less. I think those are less desireable assignments so they are relagated to the less senior, therefore younger, therefore "I, ME" generation attendants.

WE use JFK quite a bit. We flew through JFK for our last cruise. and we have used it for many international flights. Never had any airport related problems.

Getting to JFK is easy from CT. . From where you live it might be a longer distance th Newark Int. There is plenty of parking, but I either fly to JFK or take a airport limo.

CQ we took American Airlines (economy class) from San Franciscio to Miami it was a non stop flight they didn't lose our bags. The seat were tiny the really crammed us in there. I think Rinker flys Business or first class so he would have better seats. I go for the cheap seats.

Crooozin sorry to hear about your loss.

Yeah Kat, been a while since I flew coach...ONLY because I get upgrades.

When I fly to Japan...I book coach and pay for an upgrade when I check in....saves me around 700.00
Costs me about 400.00 but it is way worth it on a 10 hour flight.

Hey Gang, yep it's me - late again !!! It's just so crazy around here - I'm so glad it's open bar and it's Friday - told DH this morning didn't know what time I'd be home - depends upon work - I may be here until 6 or 7 and that doesn't make me a happy camper!! So I'm jumping in saying hey, hope everyone has a great day -

Crooozin - sorry to hear about the loss of a loved one, my prayers are with you and your family.

Everyone else - have a couple for me, I may be too tired after the day is over to raise my hand to mouth with a drink in it!!!

We flew Ameriican airlines to and from Hawaii and they did not lose our luggage.
Thank you for the drinks. I hope to buy you a drink on the Oasis or a similar ship someday.
