No doggy park today the weather was cool enought. However, we were on the search for a Wok. That is what I get for making
"Chicken Chow Fun."

My hubby felt it took to long and didn't get the right carmelization on the noodles, because of the peanut oil and not using a Wok. So he researched Woks and found the "right kind", then we spent 4 hours driving around looking for it. We finally found a Carbon Steel 14 inch Wok set at Crate and Barrel. It took me two mintues to found the same set on-line.

My favorite part was when he was thinking that maybe he shouldn't buy this one cause the handle was loose on the display model. I almost stabbed him in the neck with my car keys. Next time I take him with me shoe shopping.

Well my day of shopping turned in to a day of cleaning

M y dad was admitted to the hospital for observation (mostly to balance his meds), so my Mom was at the hospital with him . . . so My sister & I did some deep cleaing at mom's house.

Good stuff to get done, but no where near as fun as shopping & going out for lunch.

So I am exhausted, but still strung out from WAY too much coffee & driving.

My sister was so inspired by my cruise binder ( the one that contains all my planning stuff for this cruise) that she said she wants to go on a cruise!
THe only bad thing is her husband is paranoid about sun exposure . . . He does have red hair, freckles and a pale complexion . . . I told her she could start with Alaska!

I work at a small State University (Delta State in Cleveland, Mississippi- (go fighting okra!) My Division is Family & Consumer Scienves- the new more PC name fo Home Ec. we have a child care center in our Division- all the little kids & the college kids call ms 'Miss Pat' once I got comfortable with that, I started referring to my husband as Mr. Clint.
