Good Morning Gang - finally Thurs and (my Friday) - second week in a row that I've taken a 3 dayer!! (yeah) suppose to be money making events that I'm at - but it's not happening - I'm not making anything- ending up in the hole - hope this weekend is better!

Weather has been great but now rain is in the forecast for today (later) and tomorrow and the weekend as well- hope it doesn't have an affect on the Antique Sale this weekend -

the pics from the virtuals have been great - thanks for the great work Kat!

not much else going on - hubby is slowly on the mend, doing better and I'm working like crazy and trying to get the retirement packet in order

well, must get back to work - have a great day!

Hi gangWe are having a super, wonderfull cruise.The Oasis is just abslolutely magnificent, we, and our friends Linda and Paul are really enjoying this beautifull vessel.The entertainment, service and the food has all been top notch.I wii get back to the the boards as soon as I can.I wish that you all could be here.TM

I tried to drop in this AM but there was a database error some sort. Maybe it was duplicating posts.

Everyone have a good Open Bar Friday - I think I'm heading to a Scottish pub to see some of my old college mates - or whatever the Scots say.

Kat LAX air is still the same did not budge yet.

Plenty of seats still available though.

Hi gang

Our cruise is coming to an end but it has been super. We eill have to sail on the Oasis again.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Ready2gonow and her DH. She is a very pleasant lady with a great personality. I hope to see other cruisemates in future cruises.

I hope to be able to post tomorrow when we get to Pompano Beach.

This morning when I went to post the pictures for the virtual cruise I kept getting an error message "database down". So thought the pictures were not posting. I come back right now to try post pictures and I realize it was posting every time I got the error message.

Good Evening Gang!

I made it back safely, no accicents, no breakdowns, and a whole week of non stop fun with my rowdy friends!

Driving home today was VERY scary, the weather was really bad between south Tennessee and all of Mississippi it began to clear once we made it into Louisiana. What normally is about an 8 hour drive pulling the horse trailer took us almost 10 hours. There were tornado WARNINGS

most of the day, I had the radio on a channel that kept giving updates, but it was giving the name of the counties .. I needed the name of the towns

Anyway, we went through one area that it was really really bad, I had to slow to about 35 mph, about an hour after we went through there, I heard that a really big tornado had just passed that way and had knocked vehicles off the interstate.

I have lots of catching up to do, just wanted to say Hi!

Fern one of my favorite things at breakfast is all the fresh sliced fruit. I never take the time to do this at home. The grapefruit is my favorite, I noticed my hubby kept getting it so I had to try some.

TM welcome back in 7 days I will be on Splendor. Woo Hoo I can't wait. We are doing pre cruise at the Long Beach Hilton on 5/1 we got a cruise special that includes one night stay, parking, and shuttle.

I haven't started packing yet. It's not the last minute. My hubby has started his pre cruise panic. That is where he worries about everything and brings out important items. I have no pre cruise panic for me it's all joy.

TC - glad you and your trailer made it back. I remember when my parents hauled a boat. That made winds all the more exciting.

Wow, Kat - you will be in Mexico or Cinco de Mayo) very cool. I've heard that it not quite the party in Mexico as it is in the US - more like Memorial Day - but I'm sure they still live it up at Senor Frogs!
Thanks for the itinerary. I'm gearing up to try to do half as good as you. You must drive down from Sacramento - that must be a long haul.

We booked our pre and post hotels this weekend. Six more weeks and we are getting pretty darned excited.

I love it when the web cams are looking at each other. The top web cam is from Madeira Island and the bottom is the bridge of the Rudy Princess. Because these are web cam addresses the pictures are always changing.

Thank Bob for doing my virtual the cinco de Mayo thing was a happy accident. I heard the something you did. Cinco de Mayo is a bigger deal in California then in Mexico. The drive is 6 to 7 hours depending on how much my hubby speeds. Highway 5 is easy to travel on. Only 6 days left. I called my credit card company to let them know if the see charges in Mexico don't freak out it's us.

I'm getting close. Today was chore day. I did a lot of pre cruise stuff, which included a stop for foundation makeup. I needed a new one. I found this great stuff it's a bed head product and it's whipped. It's very light, but covers well. I'm A licensed hair stylist so I paid whole sale prices the price was still $13.50. It's expensive about $23 retail. The China Glaze nail polish was buy two get one free. I have jet stream on my hands and Cowgirl up on my toes. Jet stream is pretty light I need two coats to see it. But I like it.
