A group of artists are "creating art" from natural materials in a part about a mile and a half from our house today. It supposed to be clear in the low 70s today. We plan to take a walk down there and check it out.

Yes, I have my daughters dog 'Mr Pinot' for the weekend and as a border collie he needs walks. Course we call our house a respite care weekend for him as the two grandkids are not here.
He was born in wine country, Kelowna BC
It was a lovely 4C today, need woollies.

Cool but beautiful day here. The sun is shinning so nicely but the wind is screaming winter. its so cold!!
Just chilling at home today. Working on last minute stuff for Decembers trip to Florida. Our airlines have changed us 3 times now:-x
So finally got that back where it should be. Now if they would just not change out flights again I will be soooo Happy!!
Dumb airlines not only changed the hours but they changed us to a day later. We have resvervations already for transportation, hotels, Shows, meeting old friends, golf, and some other stuff and a day alter would mean rescheduling everything.
So glad we got it back to the right day again plus shorter layovers and isntead of Michigan we will layover at Los Angeles so the weather shouldnt cause problems. Michigan in December could be a problem.
Well enough complaining this morning.
Off to do dishes and relax today.

My son just called and after paying $1200.00 his car is still over heating so it didnt get fixed. UGH! He is unemployed and that was the last of his school money he spent to get it fixed.
So monday he has to call them and take it back again. Which mean he will be having to borrow my truck again.
Poor kid, he just cant get a break.
Ok, thats all my complaints for the weekend !!!

My beef is its one thing to change your flight time but quite another when they change the aircraft on you.
I had bought AC Executive Class tickets from Victoria to Barbados on two flights each way, well they changed them from Boeing 767/763 to Airbus 319/321.
Sure I'll still get more legroom, real hot meals, washroom for a smaller group, Maple Leaf Lounge but I was truly looking forward to the lie down seats like a bed
At least they did not change the day, should be grateful.:-)

I finished the baby quilt just in time to going camping. We leave for the desert tomorrow morning. The link above has pictures of the quilt. We have rain today it's the first rain of the season.

Had a nice weekend. Lots of time outside. Went for a long walk yesterday. Today we spent about three hours in the yard after church. Talked to family once we sat down inside. Now it's Colts time. The start was pretty rough, but the Colts just drew first blood.

My mom has a limited attention span and we can only have simple conversations with her. What she likes best is to be outdoors and see the flowers and wathch the birds.

My mom is much the same. She too loves the outdoor area where they have flowers, bird houses and feeders. Plus they have a lovely 3 tier fountain for the birds. But it is too cold for her to go outside now.
However her room overlooks the courtyard so she can look out to see it.
I hope your weather stays good for a bit longer so she can continue to go outside to enjoy the flowers.
A bit of good news after all my complaining. My sons car now works great. It seems they missed an air bubble in his lines and thats what was continuing to cause the over heating after they said it was fixed.I am so happy for him.
