Good afternoon gang,

A wet and rainy one here in the Midwest today. Temps are still above freezing but we might get some overnight snow.

Plans for our next cruise are getting thrown up into the air.. The DW is unhappy with Carnival relating to our ring purchase in Cozumel - you can see my complete rant under the Shopping forum.

Thanks TM - We docked next to Oasis and Allure - they look scary big, but we may try to overcome that fear Kat offered Freedom ot Seas. It might be more our speed.

Good Morning Gang,

It is a strange Sunday morning for us. After being at the same church for over 18 years we have joined a group starting a new church in another part of the city (we are commissioned out of our old church - not one of those nasty church splits.) The new church will meet in the evenings so here I am surfing the web and digitizing old audio tapes on a Sunday morning.

The Freedom will make for a great cruise as well. I cruised twice on her sister-ship ( Liberty OTS ) and loved both cruises.

But the Oasis is nothing to be scared of. Last year I met a 97 year lady that was doing her third cruise on the Oasis.

I would do the cruise that Kat booked on the Freedom, but Mrs. TM loves to cruise on the date of our aniversary.

Interesting. Was this because of merging for a more vibrant church size and mix of ages. We have been undergoing merging churches to ward off financial or non healthy churches

Good Morning Gang,

Got to get a quick bit of computer work in this morning - then I head to the west coast this afternoon.

Robh - the new church is because our old church was getting a little crowded and we decided to grow by emptying a few seats. Hopefully it will work a little like splitting day lilies, but will flourish. We have moved into a different area of the city that is actually closer to our home. The new church is meeting at another church facility (UMC). It is interesting be be home in someone else's home.
