I was looking for my CT .picture by the train but could not find it .In the interim I have one from Carson City ,NV .

Thanks TM! That was last year on the Liberty. We were on the ship for St. Patty's Day and the cruiser in the picture wore a Leprechaun costume. That was in the casino.

I knew If I took a picture with him that someday it would make a great avatar.

Greetings from Sunny San Dimas. Here in the "home office" for a couple of days.

Back home the DW takes her grandmother the the ophthalmologist for shot that should help restore site in her one eye.

Happy Carnaval/Mardi Gras to eveyone. Normally we would do Malazadas (Portuguese doughnuts) on Fat Tuesday, but it didn't want to deep fry at 5AM in the morning. So my co-workers are enjoying some pasteis de nata (custard tarts). They are really enjoying them to.

The work day is done - a small group dinner tonight and then more work in my room. Is that enjoying my stay? On the other hand, if I only had a custard tart life would be good. I could watch the sun set reflecting on a snow topped mountain - that was nice.

Mardi Gras has started today though we call it Strove Tuesday and at our church today we cooked for lunch and supper, bangers, bacon and pancakes, also for the PC crowd had fruit plates.

Problem was the griddles and the church electricty did not cooperate well so we ended up cooking on the stove with pans.
My original pancakes looked fine on the outside but fit for a dog on the inside.

Henry, my pancakes might have cured you... all the best, get well

After I made them the first time they quickly became my hubby's favorite pastry. I made an angel food cake with the extra 12 egg whites.
