Good morning gang

We had a nice day yesterday. The weather was much better than it had been for several days.

We had the pleasure of meeting Henry and his DW. We had a nice lunch and we plan to get together again soon.

Well our Alaska season is truly underway as we had four ships in yesterday and today we have the P&O ARCADIA in for its 72 day Alaska cruise from Southampton return , a first in almost 40 years.
Weather here is cool at about 15C, overcast and the ruddy oil heat is still on.

Yes happy BD to all and sundry and waiting another year ofr retirement does not change the monthly pension check that much unless you are retiring very early then a reduction might happen.

If you go to Cruise reviews, look under Golden Princess May 2011 and you will see mine for our short cruise. (Rob Holloway)

It was sunny here then drizzling .My wife and I went shopping and the rain came down heavily .Supposedly it will rain here all week.

Right now it's almost 9PM and we are getting more rain. The next three days are predicted to be partly sunny, but I will have to see it before I believe it.

Tomorrow and thursday supposedly will be hot and sunny here ;friday through sunday rainy but hot.

Hi Gang,

Happy Wine Down Wednesday - I'm back in the hearland. Sorry about the sun missing we must have been hogging it all down south. it was sunny with temps in the high 80's the whole time we were down there. Plus, I didn't stay a land lubber the whole time. We got out on the swamp for a tour. With all the flooding there wasn't much swamp to the swamp - it was all pretty much lake.
