I am not supposed to drink alcohol due to medical problems but occasionally I have a drink .

Happy Wine Down Wednesday. I'll have to pick out a new bottle.
Last night DW made fajitas and margaritas last night - and wore a Mexican sun dress to get in the mood. Ole'!

In 1998 I went to a Mexican restaurant in NYC after work with a co-worker called Villa Pancho .They were famous for their Margaritas . The 2 of us literally crawled out of there .

I had Mexican food for Fathers Day .There are some excellent Mexican restaurants in my area .

Good Morning - a little overcast here, we are supposed to have another weather change here, cooler rather than warmer. Don't know if it will happen. We were supposed to have big storms last night but they skipped here. A friend in N. Dakota had to abandon her home because of rising water.

Hi Kids....

I like Mexican food too but not many mexican places around by me. And I love my Grasshoppers. THey were either 7 or 8 dollars on the ship.....don't know why different bars on the ship had a different price for the same drink. :eek:

Bob it would be a dream come true if my son played in the world cup with Croatia.

For now he is enjoying playing for the world cup in NY. July 9th is the next round of games. Croatia is in group C along with...Ivory Coast, Poland and Mexico.

Good Morning Gang,

We did Mexican again last night - I had a Cuban Bahama Mom, was all over the Caribbean without leaving Indy.

CQ - only in NY do you have the melting pot to have your own World Cup. How cool is that. Can't do that hear in Indy, though we do have a growing international population.

Henry - glad you enjoyed the draft. It's never been compelling TV to me, I don't watch many awards shows either.

It was quite strange watching the draft last night .For the first time ever I was not familiar with the majority of players .Approximately 15 that I expected to be drafted were not . For possibly the first time ever no players were drafted from North Carolina or Notre Dame .

Hi gang.

I had a really nice afternoon. I attended a ceremony where wartime Veterans were given a medal and a certificate.

The person who did the opening prayer was a 98 year old Rabbi who is a world war two veteran.

Tomorrow evening in a town approximately 40 minutes east of me there will be an annual ceremony recognizing veterans of WWII . They also ask members of the audience who are veterans in general to stand by their branch of service .Its a very moving ceremony .

It is a beautiful Saturday here in Indiana. We are heading out soon to pick up a new ceiling fan for the DDs room. Then we will head over to the pastors house for a church cookout. Should be yummy and fun. DW made oatmeal bar cookies that are delicious.
