Did you get a good rate for May on Liberty???

I've priced out a few dates and ships in April/May and the rates are dirt cheap!

I wish I would take my son out of school but I can't

And Carnival for May is even cheaper then RCCL. I got a rate for $1,380. for two for the cabin on one of the bigger/newer carnival ships. THat is cheap. But of course when I plug in dates over the summer months the rates are high!

That Miami Rome will be a great cruise!

Summer sometime july/aug. although nothing booked yet.
Dropped off my son at soccer practice this morning at a new location so I had over an hour to kill so I start driving around and I find Cruise Holidays travel agency well I spent the hour in there.
came home with a Princess 9 niter from new york book, a rccl caribbean book and a carnival book.
The guy in there said something like this
"I think your son would love RCCL there is plenty to keep the kids busy."
I told him I know all about RCCL. He did not realize that he was speaking to the one and only CQ!

We did put a deposit down with HAL during our last cruise.
Wanna do Alaska again or something in the New England/Canada area.

Never did Alaska yet. how cold is it on the ship?? too cold to swim???

Internet is a complete rip-off.
I've posted else where about it.
Not only is there no cost to the cruise line after thge initial uplink cost....the .75 a minute is actually ten times that because it is so slow.

I like to go to the internet cafe and watch folks pull their hair out.

I'll use the internet cause I get free minutes with rccl however when the minutes are up I will not pay to use internet.

Ok now I must go workout! so someone else will have to be last!

CQ, we cruised Alaska on HAL's Ryndam.
The pool on the Lido deck can be made indoor so I did not notice cold.
In fact, in all of our pictures I'm not wearing at jacket at any of the ports.
It did feel chilly when we were at the glacier but watching all that ice fall mighta had something to do with it.

The best part about being on a ship when it's cold is.......

drum roll.......

you can go inside!

I get to be last again.
CQ we did get good rates on the Liberty of The Seas for the month of may, but the reason we're going then is to celebrate my birthday. We booked our Hawaii first , we had already booked our 09 cruise on the Solstice, then I realized that I could not wait untill then to go on a cruise. After I mentioned this to my DW she suggested we go for my birthday. So that's the the scoop.
