Bob, I wish you daughter a very happy birthday.

I just spoke with my son and he and his sisters are as prepared as one can be as far as Sandy is concerned.
I will be in touch all day and pray for the best.

TM, I hope that your kids are safe. I also worry about Lakers Fan.

I went and voted today. I'll be on the cruise when the election is held, so I wanted to get that in. I usually vote early anyway. People are constantly knocking on my door. When the gentleman did this evening I was able to cut him off by saying I'd already voted. I am just so sick of this mess. I am a democrat and have a sign up in my yard, so every republican in the county is constantly beating on my door asking me to vote for them...like it'll happen. I think they get sadistic pleasure in it.

Moiraine - doesn't it feel good to go ahead and vote and be able to say - I'm done with this. We should have booked for next week or maybe this week. I hate to answer the phone.

Heard from the DS around 4 yesterday things weren't too bad for him in Brooklyn at that time. Will check again today.

My kids are OK. Their homes did not suffer any damage. LF was OK yesterday morning. I will try to get hold of him this afternoon.

TM, I just started on the packing a few minutes ago. Ugh. I'll ge it all in one bag. No problem. I've told people I'd bring them stuff back, so I guess I need to find a cheap canvas bag I can throw in there to bring back with me as a carry on.

Not sure exactly where in Jersey CQ lives but I remember she expected to be without power for several days.

TM - have you heard from Lakers Fan? I saw his wife wanted to ride out the storm. Are they okay?

The DS seems be be operating as normal in Brooklyn. I know he was working Wednesday night. Not sure if they were open Tuesday.

I have called his landline and his cell phone. The answering machine came on and I left messages.

Lakers Fan is OK.

His house has no power, but they did not get much water damage. Many of his neighbors houses are flooded.

I'm here I glad to here Lakers fan and CQ are okay I was worried about them with Hurricane Sandy in the area. That was a crazy storm. I'm so lucky to live in California were we don't get storms like that here. Cause wow that was scary.

Moiraine started her cruise today. So we are in Virtual land.

Tomorrow we board our ship.

Welcome to Standard Time. We have frost on the ground in a big way this morning - at least I was able to see it.

The virtual is starting with a bang but I expect Moiraine took a larger airplane to Miami.
