No power since the storm and does not look good for getting power back anytime soon... Power company is a big joke!!! Prayers for all those people that lost their home and everything!!

Yay a virtual!!! Nice pics!!!

Big thanks to Remax office for opening it's doors to the community with computers, coffee, a place to hang out and get some heat and plug in anything that needs charging!!

This is a curious monument of pride in Dominica

The bus was a gift for the independence (I think from the Netherlands, not sure if I remember correctly.) A storm came the next day and knocked over the tree. I guess it is supposed to be a sign of resilience.

Last day of work for me. Tomorrow we head to Miami - in fact should be there 24 hours from now. Spending the night on Miami Beach and we get up and board the Carnival Valor Saturday. After that, eight days of fun and sun.

Sorry about the power situation that's a bummer. It's a relief to here from you. I was worried about you. Sandy really hammered the east coast. You do need a cruise. I can offer you a couple of vitural cruises. Oh hang make that three here's my mom's cruise:
This was a biggie 14 days on the Golden Princess however, a lot of sea days it takes a while to cross the ocean for California to Hawaii.
