Good morning Gang! Just checking in. Got in last night. Hoo boy! I feel like I have a giant hang over. No, I did n ot have that much to drink, just that much fun...but it's catching up with me. I had a blast. Thanks for the virtual cruise Kat. I hope you all enjoyed it. I hope Bob is enjoying his cruise as well. I'll be back this evening or tomorrow after I've rested and tell you more. I understand from my brother that I'm going to have to run again for Thanksgiving here in a few days. Hope you are all doing well.

I had a wonderful time. Dominica was great. I want to go back. I did not see any whales or dolphins but had a nice time looking for them. Did see some flying fish and got a beautiful view of the island from offshore. We did not get back in time to do an island tour, which was a bummer. Oh well, it's an excuse to go back. We did shop at the flea markets and talked to the folks there.
I had looked forward to St. Lucia and was disappointed. I want to go back there and try again. I had the worst tour I've ever had. I booked it last minute and it really was not much. It just took us around town and mostly stopped for shopping. Too top it off, our guide left a lot to be desired. I caught her in what she thought was a private moment...doubled up in what looked like pain. I think she'd taken something for it before work, too.
The Sun is a small ship with not a lot of extras but it had great food and the entertainment was good. I had a relaxing ten days. About 90% of the people on board were my age (49) or older. It was a great cruise.

I spend the day helping my mom prepare for her cruise. I colored her hair, did her boarding pass and printed out her luggage tags. When I was helping her I discovered she was visited by the upgrade fairy and the fairy was very kind. Her upgrade was from an Ocean view to a Balcony on a 14 day cruise I'm so jealous and happy for her. They are going to have a great cruise. There on nine sea days on this cruise. I would be having breakfast out on the balcony on those sea days.

Sounds like a great cruise welcome back. Dominica looks so beautiful from the pictures I saw. Too bad about the St. Lucia tour sounds like the tour guide was having a rough day.

I. There on nine sea days on this cruise. I would be having breakfast out on the balcony on those sea days.
That's one thing about balconies that I love. Having breakfast and watch the ocean.

Sounds like a great cruise Moiraine!! St. Lucia is not one of my favorite spots.....The next cruise after Carnival is NCL....and looks like the shows on NCL are top notch.... Welcome back and time for you to book another cruise!!

How I have a breather until my mom's cruise starts on Wednesday we might start with the drive down to LA on Tuesday. Lots of sea day I hope I can find enough interesting pictures. I didn't think they will cruise Mt Kilauea but we will pretend they are. I will do a youtube video that day.

I'm going to my MIL so I don't have to cook the turkey this year. I'm bring my rice stuffing, I already did the shopping for it last night. I'm a bit worried. I make a really good high heat turkey (super moist breast meat) and the last time my MIL under cooked the turkey. My hubby offerred my services to my MIL, but she said she had it. He is worried too.I heard him on the phone saying "Sherry can make the turkey." I'm like dude you didn't even ask me. But I love it that my hubby prefers my cooking to his moms.
