Man it rained so hard this weekend I almost started work on my Ark. Today it's a bit cloudly but I think the sun is scheduled to make an appearance. I hope everyone has a good Mojito Monday or Milkshake Monday for the non drinking folks among us.

We'll see if Kat is prophetic. I didn't leave the port area and neither did the pictures she posted. Will CQ get out and about in Grand Turk?

Bob, that is not an easy guess. CQ loves to be on the ship, but she also loves to go out and explore.

We will find out when she comes back.

I did have a picture outside of the port area but it was to big so I replaced it.

We actually walked down to the "local village" a little strip just beyond the official port area, but not really very adventurous.

The Grand Turk cruise port had added an NASA exhibit because the Mercury program used it as a splash down area. I was looking forward to seeing some good archival photos of "back in the day". During the 80's my boss had been site manager at GT during the Mercury program and had all the only phone around. At one point he had all 7 Mercury astronauts in his office. Alas, the display was rather pedestrian.
