Happy mojito morning

Another week is here. It will be a busy one for us. The DW has a birthday on wednesday and we leave for Ct. on thursday. With a few things to do before we leave, we certainly won't have any time for boredom.

Checking airfares this morning...won't budge.. My TA says to check on Tuesdays......Come on JetBlue come on your planes are 1/2 empty lower the rates!!

Hey Gang,
Happy today that the DS is heading home - or at least close to home. He and his GF will fly to Chicago today and then come down here on Thursday. It is nice just having him a little closer.

Went out last night and helped the DD lease a new (2012) vehicle. The DW will be scurryfunging all day preparing the house the the DS how gets in tonight. Then I begin a short holiday vacation.

We are getting closer to Christmas. I finally got my Christmas cards out this year. My shopping was all done on Amazon this year. It's so much easier then fighting the crowds. Now I need to wrap the present and deocrate the tree.

I usually do most of my shopping online.

I can't get my kid motivated to do anything. I finally started decorating the tree last night and she helped. The only thing wrapped is her stuff. I hate to wrap but I may have to because it looks like she's not going to unless I break the stuff out right in front of her.

My daughter received a package from a stranger .The sender somehome heard about my daughter and family losing much of their house ,possessions ,etc and in the package was a gift card ,toys and candy .

Good Afternoon Gang,
LF ,so nice that someone is doing more than thinking about those who lost much.

Hard rains turned to snow here yesterday. We have a little less than an inch on the ground. Haven't bothered to shovel, it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow.

The DS & GF got in at about midnight last night. We were up until 2 chatting. Now they are thrift shopping - finding the types of bargains unavailable in NYC.

My daughter and her husband left here yesterday to attend a wedding in Pittsburgh .Its their return to normalcy .Hopefully they will not have any driving problems returning due to snow.

Merry Christmas Gang. Had ours yesterday with my bunch. Was going to OH's today but we have had ice and now it's snowing. The OH and daughter are out there and will spend the night. I stayed at home with the animals. So far we have power. Things will be fine as long as that continues.

Good Afternoon All,
We've got about 7" of snow now and winds in the 20s.

Got the DS & GF to the train this AM ahead of the snow. Now they are in Chicago hoping for a flight out. He has to work tonight, she has to get on a train to Philly tomorrow.
