Good morning all

The rains have come and washed all of our snow away! Hopefully it even cleaned the muddy footprints off of the driveways from last week's digging.

Have made it through year-end at work, for the most part, there are always a few stragglers.

I am not a fan of snow either. It's quite balmy here and we going to beach tomorrow.

Good afternoon Gang.

We had a really nice afternoon. The weather has been quite warm, so we were able to spend some time in Daytona beach.

I took a long walk on the beach, and there were a lot of people around. We do get get a lot of snowbirds at this time of the year.

I used to spend some time here, before or after my cruises and now it's hard to believe that we have lived here for over 14 months.
I do like it here, it's a great place for retirees like us.

Cats sure do have the life....

Here is my cat's schedule

5:30 wake up eat
5:35 to 10:00 terrorize the birds
10:00 to 5:00 Nap time
5:00 dinner time

Good morning Gang. I woke up to more rain this morning but it's taken a break for the moment. I'm about to take the dog for a spin around the neighborhood. She did not get to go yesterday. We tried but she decided it was too wet. I've got laundry going. Have a good day all.

We had quite the storms come in last night. It has rained most of the day a temps are quickly dropping. Went back to the hometown for my father's 86th birthday (actually on Wednesday) and the rain was becoming ice three. We may play hooky from church if the roads get too dangerous.

We are fortunate to have good friends. Today I was on the go all day. My DW enjoyed the Patriots victory and I went to the Portuguese Club to watch a soccer game. I had to settle for a tie.

Back in the deep freeze for us. It was 18 when I got up this AM.

The DW says she would like there to be snow on the ground when we leave for a cruise so we have something to leave behind. I am fine with that as long as it doesn't keep us from going.

It would be nice to have snow on the ground just before you leave and have it all melt while you are cruising.

Good Morning Peeps!!

I spoke to soon....we are expecting and ice storm tonight into tomorrow!

Is it Springtime yet????

I would rather do a 9 nighter out of NY/NJ in the winter months...and with an itinerary of the caribbean. the nassau/orlando itinerary may be warm but may be cold also. it's all luck....

I called and spoke to Royal reservations I did not know they are open 24/7....I guess if you can't sleep you can always book a cruise at 2am....

They do have many international cruisers and with the time differences that may be why.....
