I agree, Lakers. I got excited about not getting the ice yesterday only to turn on the tv to see the ice and snow moving into the state today. It's currently 26f.

Moraine ,snowstorms are predicted here for tonight and tomorrow .The closest movie theater to where I live was destroyed by Sandy .Tomorrow I made plans with friends to do a 45 minute drive to see a movie so I am doing my no snow dance now.

My brother is supposed to bring my mom down tomorrow to get some things in order here for her move in early Feb. If they don't get to come it's going to put a dent in things. I hope the snow goes around us.

Not really. There is still dead grass sticking up, so it's actually kind of ugly. My hometown got more it looks like.

My former hometown in Ct. is bracing for some snow after midnight.

Here in Palm Coast, Fl. the temps have been above average.

Happy Open Friday to all. Still c o l d here but no snow. I don't mind it falling and covering the ground. I'm just not real fond of shoveling the stuff.

Have the car into the shop to resolve a stack of recall notices we have accumulated over the years. It's kind of disappointing. We bought a Toyota due to their vaunted reliability. We didn't anticipate the annual recall. This will be a part of our consideration for the next vehicle purchase.

The weather here has turned colder, this morning was down to 55 and it's only going up to 62 today. No that's not cold but it's much cooler than it has been for the last several weeks.
