Hi Gang! Happy Friday!!

In the 50's today..I can get use to this!! They say snow tonight and tomorrow hopefully it does not stick since it was warmer today.

A few shows on tonight about Triumph...Piers Morgan and another on ABC.

Bob wow you are on since digit now......

Thanks goodness nobody from the gang was on the Triumph cruise....Imagine our virtual cruise pictures on this thread would be.....

Thanks TM! Still looking....The flights to FLL came down but the return did not...however still a few flights with many seats available....I'm checking many times each day....once they lower the fare it goes fast.

As for ships there are still cabins available on Oasis, ALLure and Independence.

As the days get longer, the chanches of snow should diminish. I am sending some sunshine up your way.

We've got your sunshine but cold temps here. We had snow in yesterday's forecast but barely had a dusting. Forecast shows snow for next Friday/flyday. I'm not going to worry about that a week is too far out to trust a weather forecast in my book.

Good afternoon Gang. I hope you all get no more snow!

Well, I'm back from my hometown. Mom is doing much, much better. This surgery seems to have done the trick. She's got her appetite back, although she can't eat a lot yet. She sick and tired of the hospital though. Can't say as I blame her. She should get out on Monday. The doctor told her she'd have to stick around until he gave her her walking papers, so she'll stay with my aunt for a few days. Just as well as I've got to figure out some things about her room. I don't like the way my brother has it set up, but I'm going to have to buy cable to run to another part of the room for the tv, and I've got some other things to change, too. Anyway, things seem better and she's not fighting me on living here.

Yes and it was long overdue . I have been in e-mail and telephone contact with people re this .

There is a possibility that Roger may be honored at a future Brooklyn Nets basketball game and if so I will be there .

Its amazing that the high school that Roger and I graduated was not known for academics at the time . However just from the years Roger and I were there we have a current US Senator ,a Harvard Professor ,one of America's leading Cardiologists ,just to cite a few .

Good Sunday morning Gang. I want to thank you all for the support. Last I talked to mom she was doing better. The kid and her class are on their way back to school. She got word yesterday that she got the summer job she applied for. She will be working at the same place she worked last summer.

I think I'll just relax and take the day off. I hope you all have a great day.

Hey TM when you where on the Allure do you remember how quick the Debark was??? When on Oasis the Debark was the quickest I ever experienced...was wondering if Allure is fast as well....

Kat looks to be enjoying her new project. Our Kat is a talented person.

Well, my mom is deathly sick again. I hope that she's just got the GI bug that's going up there. I'm really worried though that the ruptured hernia has ruptured again as she has unhealthy body tissue. That particular hernia hernia had been repaired before and should not have ruptured. The doctor told her it might do this.

To add to my stress is my brother's attitude. My mom is a handful to be sure but my brother pretty much hates her and cops an attitude all of the time. He seems to have no sympathy, ever. Mom has a right to be scared to death right now but he's acting like she's a drama queen. Sometimes I want to just shake him senseless.

So, that's my news.

Bob wow so close!! Looks like the Friday storm is off...

Moiraine I'm so sorry to hear Mom is sick again.....I hope she gets better soon. I know taking care of older sick parents is very trying for the family members.....1st day of training went well just alot talk about the company....hands on computer training starts tomorrow.

TM glad you are off to Disney again...I feel the same way...I never went to theme parks as a kid so I do it now...

Well, the verdict is that it's probably not the hernia causing the sickness. The doctor thinks it's either some of her meds or a GI bug. Whew. They want to keep her in the hospital in rehab for a while after discharge to keep an eye on her, which isn't a bad idea.

Thanks CQ. I did not get to do much when I was young but I do what I can now.
Our cruise on the Oasis is less than two months away.

Moiraine, glad to hear your mother's situation is not worse case.

My FIL begins a "protocol" for is AML today. all out-patient. It's three or four cycles of five days of shots & five days off. We'll see how this goes.

Weather is crazy around here. Yesterday it hit 60 today won't crack 30.
