Default New Tv Season

According to some things I have read about the upcoming tv season,. some of our fave shows will not be starting in September...Lost for one, Law & Order for another!!!

Law and Order Criminal Intent, is going over to the USA network, at least it wasn't cancelled.

So many of the new shows, imho, won't last very long. I am looking forward to Cane, Dirty Sexy Money, and the show based on the Murder Club mysteries, by James Patterson. The Ladies Murder Club I think might be the name....Looks like my dvr may not get a workout this season!

What are you looking forward to? Sad it's not coming back, or you would never watch, like that Caveman series..oh my!

Hi Trip,

I too have enjoyed Law and Order Criminal Intent, at least it is going to USA.

I am really looking forward to the James Patterson show...The Ladies Murder Club. My husband and I both love his books.

I always liked The Price is Right, so I am looking forward to seeing Drew Carey as the new host.

I don't think I'll get into the Caveman show...

Looking forward to Amazing Race, Survivor, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, ER, and NCIS.

Oh Darn, but at least there will be a new one eventually. Getting tired of watching re-runs of House Hunters :-)

I won't be watching ANYTHING in the new season, until LOST comes back in Feb. 2008. It's a long wait, but it'll be worth it! Meanwhile, I'm waiting for season 3 to come out on DVD.....

I like NCIS and Battlestar Gallactica but I'm not really sure what new shows will be starting.

I did see an advert for "another" reality show about kids starting their own town. I'll be watching and waiting for one of them to put a pig's head on stick.

Aren't most of the reality shows basically a derivative of "Lord of the Flies"?

"Ralph, the playpen has spoken."

Take care,
Mike

I too really enjoy NCIS,,and frankly it's one of the few shows on in prime time that I look forward to.
I'm anxious to see the season start for "The Price is Right", as I enjoy it when I happen to be home at 11 A.M. Can't wait to see how Drew does.
Yep, I'm getting tired of Susanne Whang of whatever her name is on "House Hunters", but as you said, it beats most of the other stuff thats on.

I too am a fan of Househunters, and laughed when I saw Suzanne in a continuous roll in the shoe Las Vegas, as a potty mouth manicurist.

A couple of things I notice about this show is that the couples always look like they are attatched at the hip.maybe it's just me....

Another thing, is I know this is probably edited to death, but it seems like not having a double sink in a bathroom, or an odd color paint is a deal breaker.

That said, I am a big fan:):)

Default New TV Season

I, too, am a big House Hunters Fan, and I, too, am sick of all the reruns. They need some new material. Maybe last night was a new beginning: Star Jones was hostess instead of Susanne Whang. Anybody see this? The twin realtors looked like ladies of the night!

The thing that the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I always laugh about on House Hunters, and the other shows where they prepare homes for sale, is that the prospective buyers are always complaining about the furnishings, and pictures in the home. DUH,,,does that stuff come with the house, or are they so shallow that they can't seperate the furnishings from the home?
We watch almost all the home improvement shows, and really enjoy, and get good ideas from most of them.

OMG Trip,
You are so right. I get a laugh every time a couple will not like a wall color. One of the easiest things to fix and one of the least expensive. I still can't get over the double sink thing either, our master has one sink, but lots of drawers and storage underneath, I like that better than having another sink, when there is my bathroom down the hall, big deal! :-)

Do you also notice that every other countertop is granite?? I like the corian much better and not quite the same cost, but no upkeep like those, they never tell you about that. Oh, and gotta have the stainless appliances.....wait about 10-15 year that too will be "dated" when something newer comes along....

Hi Everyone!

I am like Rollerdonna, I can't wait for Lost to start again!!

I also enjoy ER, Las Vegas(Josh Dumal ), Grey's Anatomy.

I am still sad that they have cancelled Crossing Jordan, and I miss Providence and Judging Amy.

I will miss Crossing Jordan also. I see "Woody" will be in a sitcom called Carpoolers. I guess I will have to watch it just to see Woody. I also hope that Jericho comes back, I really liked it. Also, ER, I've watched it from the beginning. Funny shows: New Adventures of the Old Christine, My Name is Earl, Two and a Half Men. I will be glad when Lost comes back and I also watch Survivor. I'm tired of watching reruns. We've watched all the reruns of The Wonder Years, very good show. Come on new TV season!!

Judy, the Star shows are reruns from last year, right after she left The View. Most Thursday nights are first run episodes.

The doubole sink issue arises from the 2 of them getting ready for work at the same time, something in my almost 40 years of marriage, has never happened. There may be another bathroom down the hall too, have thet EVER thought of separate bathrooms?

When this show first started, they never mentioned the price of the home, & since they do now, it's interesting to see how prices differ from around the country.

Trip, I always notice how old these reruns are from the price of the homes. We have a VERY small master bath, only one sink, one regular size shower. We have been married almost 35 years and have never found it to be a problem. Younsters today are spoiled.

Floridanamaw, you reminded me, I saw a commercial for Carpoolers, which I thought was brilliant! 4 guys just air drumming to Phil Collins on the radio (Something in the Air Tonight). I recognized Jerry O'Connell, I've liked him since he did a Canadian series way back when...something about a super-hero. I think I will check out that one new show....

1 for me is Boston Legal. If you don't pay attention for a minute you miss 5 jokes. Heck .. I even watch the re-runs.

I'm looking forward somewhat to "Back to You" with Kelsey Grammer. Otherwise, just LOST in February.

Speaking of CSI, do you know why there there isn't a version called CSI: Kentucky? No dental records and the dna is all the same!
