Default 5 Reasons College Football is Better

College Football is better because:

The kids play harder – it’s not just a paycheck to them

Mom and Dad are in the stands

College Football has more tradition as it’s been around a lot longer

Marching bands, and fight songs

And most importantly:
College football has no “throw-away” games. It’s lose one and you’re done. In the NFL, you can lose several games and still make the playoffs.

What do you guys think?

I like college football much better than professional. No doubt.

I absolutely agree also. Especially since the million dollar salaries for some of the pro players.
College games are just plane FUN.

Sounds like a religious argument to me.

I am of the same sect. Of course many hate the one and done aspect of college football.

Sherry,

I think you hit the nail on the head: If an NFL team loses a game or two at the beginning of their season, their season isn’t over yet.

In the NFL, if a team loses a few games, it doesn't matter because it can still get into the playoffs.

And since a team can lose a few games -- almost any single game is not important. The games that can be lost and the team still gets into the playoffs are what I call "throwaway" games. And who wants to devote several hours on a well-deserved day off from work, and watch a game that doesn't matter?

Now, I'm not picking on the NFL, I hope you understand. I watch NFL games from time to time; especially the playoffs, because then, the games matter.

The reason I believe College Football is better, is because each and every game is important! If a team loses one, it's pretty much done. It makes the games much more exciting, because every one of them is important. It's like having playoff games every week!

(By the way, I thought you did an excellent job running the NFL Pick'em this year. We on the College Pick'em couldn't quite get our act together......!)

Why thank you on the NFL pick'em, I enjoy doing them .

It's funny how many people all the world watch the Superbowl. See NFL games build like a great movie. Since College has no playoffs it's more like watch a bad movie with no climax. Superbowl is the climax of an NFL season, people even want to watch the commericals.

Yeah but they are older by then. They have stretch marks and wrinkles. However, I have found that I can not be as choosey anymore.

"After market equipment" I love that term.

You are right DTW they are horrible looking freaks. Just look at all those wrinkles and you can tell they have more stretch marks then the octuplet mom. I'm truly sorry for subjecting your eyes to this. Can you ever forgive me. Next time I will put up pictures of girls young enough to be your daughter.

It's OK, I will recover. There are still girls my age that actually still look hot, they are just getting harder to find.

Here is a picture of Helen Mirren (63). I think she still has the goods. I'm don't know if everything is original equipment.

Your target market is 18 to 25 right. How are those blue pills working?
