Michigan State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Xavier

Kentucky, Washington, Duke, Baylor

venice March 22nd, 2010 04:38 AM

one change....I pick Cornell to upset Kentucky (have to be loyal to upstate New York teams)

it would be sooooooo cool to have a Syracuse vs Cornell championship game

green_rd March 22nd, 2010 08:13 AM

Wow - what a bracket busting weekend. I lost half of my Elite Eight on one of my final 4 ('Nova). Glad to have a chance to reset here. I'll have to ponder this a bit.

Lakers Fan March 22nd, 2010 07:33 PM

I have Syracuse to win it all .

green_rd March 24th, 2010 09:05 AM

My Elite Eight:
Michigan State, Ohio State, Xavier, Syracuse, Kentucky, Washington, Purdue, Baylor

The final four - may edit Saturday morning:
Ohio State, Syracuse, Kentucky, Purdue

Lakers Fan March 24th, 2010 11:34 AM

Even though they are not in my final 4 ,I would love to see Cornell achieve that

green_rd March 24th, 2010 02:21 PM

That would be pretty exciting - they are almost the home team at Syracuse. I'm sure there is some winding road from Ithaca.

green_rd March 25th, 2010 08:49 AM

Here are the states represented in the Sweet Sixteen:

California
Indiana (2)
Iowa
Kansas
Kentucky
Michigan
New York (2)
North Carolina
Ohio (2)
Tennessee
Texas
Washington
West Virginia

Butler would love to be the home town team at the Final Four, but there are plenty of teams that are a short drive away from the Circle City.

Lakers Fan March 25th, 2010 11:01 AM

Indianapolis has traditionally been the home to great basketball ,high school ,college and pros .

venice March 25th, 2010 11:39 AM

I think The Big Red will knock off Kentucky and s/u a Syracuse-Cornell championship game..CBS will hate it because it will not be a rating winner, but upstate new york will be in a frenzy...i would pay to see that game

Lakers Fan March 25th, 2010 01:02 PM

I would pay to see that game too . A few years ago SUNY Albany was in the field of 64 and that was great .

venice March 25th, 2010 04:45 PM

I remember that..have you been following the mess at SUNY Binghamton ?

Lakers Fan March 25th, 2010 08:11 PM

Yes ,I have . Its unfortunate

Sorry Venice it looks like upstate will have to wait another year.

Butler crashed my bracket but won my heart - go Bulldogs!

venice March 26th, 2010 10:24 AM

yep..yesterday was not a good day for upstate New Yorkers and for my bracket selections..let's see what today's games have in store for us..should be exciting

Lakers Fan March 26th, 2010 11:50 AM

Venice :

Did you ever get to see Vaughn Harper play at Syracuse ?I knew him when we were kids

venice March 26th, 2010 10:16 PM

he had left the year before I arrived, but I heard about him..he was a big star at Boy's H.S. in Brooklyn and had one heck of a verticle leap
