Is there a ferry from Rome, Italy to Lisbon, Portugal?

Hello!! Can anyone tell me if there is a ferry from Rome to Lisbon or any other convenient and timely form of travel by sea - mid November, 2002? Thank you, Maggie

Well... that is quite a hall for a ferry... although there are a number of cruise itineraries starting in Civitavecchia and ending in Lisbon. If the idea is that you need to get from one city to the other by means other than flying, you can do it by train, from Rome via Paris to Lisbon... on some superb European trains.
