We just got back from the Legend that sailed from 9/18 - 9/26...this was our first cruise and I can't say anything bad about it at all. We had booked a cabin on the riviera deck and was bummed clear up to the main deck on the outside with balcony doors. This itself was a nice surprize and even though we had a life boat in our view it was still the thought that counted and we gladly like it. The ship was beauitful and the service was great. The food was always hot and very tasty. The first night out was a little rocky due to going though the last of the hurriacane Isable but we didn't mind at all in fact all we could do was laugh about it while sipping on drinks in the bar called satchmo's. Our trp was interupted due to someone that got very ill on board so we had to make a short stop near Bermuda for the coast guard to pick them up. Because of this we were not able to make our schedule stop in Purto Rico but carnival gave everyone on board a ship board credit of $25.00 each. St. Thomas was so beautiful and so many things to do. Tortola was mainly just a sight seeing place but after walking so much and shopping in St. Thomas and then taking a tour on tour bus we didn't mind just doing a tour in a taxi in Tortola...lol. We made so many friends on board and countless memorys. I don't think I have taken so many pictures in one week in my whole life but I took 16 rolls of film...lol started with 8 and ended up buying 8 more on ship. Our cabin stewart we saw everyday even though so many people say they never saw them but knew they had been there because there room had been made up. Mano was the sweetest stewart you could meet and always surprized us with something new every night. It was the best vacation we have taken and truly turned out to be a second honeymoon for us as we were celebrating our 25th annv. All I can say is thank you carnival for the times of our lifes and for the making our first cruise so rewarding. We can't wait now to go on another cruise. So for all you expecting to go on the Legend have a great time and sit back and enjoy yourselves as we did for the week. I also like to thank all the people on cruisemates message board that help me in advice for our cruise.

Susan, glad you enjoyed the Legend and the food, even after reading my story on the chit chat board! Can you tell me, what does >ii< mean? I can't figure that one out!
