I've posted all the CruiseMates Group Cruises, we've currently got set. And I think we've got some GREAT ships, at WONDERFUL prices.
We're about to add the Diamond Princess, sailing Apr. 09/05 to the Mexican Riviera.
Now... I'd like to hear from YOU!!!! To where? what ship? at what time frame? would YOU like to see us looking to set up future 2005 CruiseMates group cruises?
I'm currently looking at a longer transcanal cruise for late spring 05 (for us old fogies who can afford the time away).
I'd like to see if there is any CONSENSUS of what else YOU'D like to see us putting together for future CruiseMates group cruises
-Diamond Princess during the winter season (April is miserable in Mexico)
-Fall foliage trip during fall (No fall colors in Sept, October trips have fall color)
-Alaska during the summer season (not September) with a ship that goes to Glacier Bay
-Europe trip that people can afford (Radisson trip was too $$$)
-Transcanal on a line other then Celebrity
Good Afternoon;
Did you happen to locate a cruise like this for a late fall cruise. If so
please email me about the stats. My wife and I are cruiseing on the
Miracle 05/02/05 out of Baltimore, and on 09/04/04 on RCCL Grandeur
of the Sea out of Baltimore. But if the date is right we'd love to take the
cruise you are looking for. We do not like to sail from San Juan for a
cruise. Thank you, Vic
Hey! We are "First Timers", planning our first cruise for late June 2005. We would like to do a Bahamas/Florida 7 day, not sure which line yet. It will be a 20th wedding anniversary and our oldest's daughters graduation present. Also not sure whether to get two rooms, or splurge for a suite w/ separate bedroom. NCL and Carnival do this Bahama's/Florida so far, hoping Royal C will also, any advice will be great! Thanks so much,!
It was strange to see this message because I was going to post something on same lines.
4 of us adults are sailing the Valor out of Miami on May 6th of 2005. We are extremely excited about this. We were wondering if there are others out there who would like to become a "group" so that we can take advantage of some of those perks. I, myself, am not exactly sure how we would go about this but I am willing to try. We are going to the TA this Friday to do our final booking and money stuff. I am interested in hearing if anyone is wanting to do this. I will keep checking this post.
Also, here is a dum dum question...do you get free drinks in the casino like Vegas??? I have the feeling the answer is gonna be a Big NO but hey I can hope.
I love the Hawaii suggestion around March 2006 or September would be good too.

Hi, I agree with Big John. A cruise out of New Orleans on the Conquest with reasonable rates for quad (inside)cabins, we would seriously think about it.
2006 might be a good year;month???sometime when it is cool in Canada:Nov,Dec,Jan or :end of June before it is too hot in the Caribb.
Would also maybe consider a Mexican cruise out of LA area on a newish ship.
Those are my thoughts/suggestions. Thank-you.

VALOR Jan/05-our first family cruise was great!
I would go with RCCL! Any of the Vision ships. They are wonderful! Lots of fun without the "glitz" and party atmosphere of some of the other ships...which are wonderful if you are party people! I have a great agent if you want to talk to her about it!
Cruising is the BEST vacation we have ever had. I have a 13 year old too.
I would splurge on a cabin with a balcony...a suite. It is worth it.
Good luck....!
ps...am in my 50's...and RCCL was loaded with that age group, plus their kids... young college people!
I'm new to this Cruisemates, it sounds great. I want to go on a cruise in April or May of 2005, 7 day to either Bahamas or Bermuda, preferably out of New York. Single traveler, will be looking for roomate. Do you think something like this will come along? Can you fill me in? Should I just keep checking on message boards, I know it's kind of early. Any information you can give would be helpful. Thanks.
I just found this group and I think it is a fabulous idea. I do the same think in my own sort of way. I have organized small group for family and co-workers over the past few years. I also make no money from these ventures, mearly better rates and the fun of cruising. I like top think of myself as a "Cruise Consultant" lol.
The reason i am writing is because I am looking to put togethere a small group for Alaska summer. I welcome any help or advise you care to offer. If yoou have any plans for Alaska trips with land packages options, I would love to join my group with yours. after all, the more the merrier!!!
Hi Kuki, do you have many requests for group cruises from Canada? I live in Vancouver, British Columbia and have never been on a cruise (but just about everything else as I used to be a tour guide). I was almost thinking about putting one together myself...could you advise how to go about it??
