Hi, We are 4 couples who booked this trip through Cruise Mates because of the great prices. Are there any plans for a get together on board? Maybe I just can't find the site where others are chatting. Let me know.

Yes! We are definitely planning some onboard get togethers, and activities!! We were missing a bunch of e-mail addresses, so nothing was sent out. Though we do have everyone's cabin #s to make contact onboard.

We'll be having a complimentary cocktail party onboard for those booked with the group... and SURPRISE.. there is also going to be a shipboard credit for everyone!!

We're also going to try and arrange a "CruiseMates night in Chops" if you and your friends are interested. On Serenade we were able to get them to close the restaurant just for those in our group... and I'm going to attempt to the same on Jewel.

Also hoping to have a CM mini golf tournament on the second full sea day.

I forgot! Are you pre cruising in Ft. Lauderdale at all? We are having a get together the evening of Jan. 28 at the Marriott Marina at 7 PM.. at the outside pool bar.

If you're going to be in town.. come and meet many of your cruisemates that night!!

Hi Kuki, Thanks for your reply. My husband and I will be arriving on Fri. but haven't found a hotel yet. I had trouble with Priceline and everything is filling up. We will definitaly be at the cocktail party on board. And that shipboard credit is a wonderful surprise! We also signed up for the Cruise Critic meeting. This will be our 12th RCCL cruise. Look forward to meeting you, and will you be our butler???? MEG

For a hotel, if Priceline isn't working, you may want to try HotWire. A couple of Company Picnic cruisers just got AmeriSuites (close by) for $69 for a post cruise night.

If you get in early enough on Friday do drop by the patio bar at the Marriott Marina. If not, we'll see you onboard.

The majority of the group has late seating for dinner... and I would guess those tables will all be close by each other.

12 have early seating... and we're one of those. However we'll try and get everyone's table #s, so we can drop by the first evening onboard to say hello.

Glad you posted and found the thread about this upcoming "Jewel" cruise, its almost here. I'm sure you already got your docs? Mine came last week, we still have a few cruisers stalking their mailman for their docs, but hopefully they will see them this week sometime.

If you can ask the rest of your friends about dining in Chops one night and let Kuki know, he'll try to get us plenty of roomf or that. Last cruise on Radiance, we were so happy with the food in the dining room we never tried out Chops, something we wished we had, so I'm glad we're going to all get together and eat there. We also have a lot of our group in the late dining time and a few of us in the early. Are you all early or late?

I know some others had some difficulties getting hotels for the night after the cruise, I believe they used hotwire and got Amerisuites for $69, so that isn't bad, you may want to try that route, good luck.
