We are booked on the QE2 for October 15th and will be dining in the Caronia restaurant. Can someone please tell me how the single sitting works? Are you allocated a table? If so what happens if people choose to eat at different times? If it is open seating, how easy is it to get a table for two?
Has anyone tried the C5 cabins?
Any information gratefully received as we have not been on this ship since 1993!
Caronia is single seating. We sailed aboard QE2 in Caronia in December 2003, some evenings we arrived arrived before our table mates and our waiters served us right away. You will not have to wait until the rest of your table appears in order to give your order.
The service and food in Caronia is outstanding.
Have a great trip.
Until we board QM2's maiden Costa Rica voyage.
Myself and family have dinned in the caronia and must say always found it out standing , C5 cabins are very nice.
We made lovely friend on our shared table and all arranged to meet at the same time for dinner, in the day we went our own way , in the evening there was pleanty to talk about , as everyone had a tale from there day ashore . Fab cruise
PS...My next cruise is this Friday 16th June ( Land of the Midnight Sun ) So So excited ,we normaly have a C5 cabin , but to our delight we have been given an up grade to a P2 Brittania Grill . Keep your fingers crossed !! Have a good cruise
