I have never been on a cruisemates group cruise, I was wondering does the group have a certain section of the dinning room reserved for the cruisemates? Are there any special cruisemates activitys or shore excursions? Are the cabins close the other cruise mates? Any info is apreshated. If anyone has been on a cruisemates group cruise and wants to share their experiances I would like to hear about them. This is one tempting cruise!

I have never been on a cruisemates group cruise, I was wondering does the group have a certain section of the dinning room reserved for the cruisemates? Are there any special cruisemates activitys or shore excursions?

On our group cruises, unless people request otherwise, those in the group at early or late seating (everyone gets to chose) are seated together.

There's the complimentary group cocktail party, and the host of the group (in this case Trip) will plan other get togethers and activities.

There also usually ends up being a regular spot out on deck where those from the group will meet most days.

The groups really are a great time... nice going on board knowing people already, and getting as involved with socially as you like.

Questions -
Do cruisemates group cruises have to be booked as a couple if I don't have a cabin mate will they try to match me with another single lady? Also do you think anyone would be willing to share a ride to the port, I would share costs if I book this cruise.

We're almost down to double digits, baby! Soon it will be less than 100 days till the cruise!

I just found out about an Open Bar and Wine program for group cruises of 30 people or more....

7 day cruise add $280 for the whole week of any alcoholic beverage that is $7.50 or less! Is this something that our group would be interested in?
(If we have more than 30 coming?)

I wanted to email Nancy about it, but I thought I would see if those of us who are going would be interested first.

The thing about that program is EVERYONE in the group must participate.

At $560 per cabin that's a fair bit of consumption for the "lighter" drinkers.

But.. hey, if those in the group are interested, there's always the possibility.

Yeah, I know that's a bit much, especially since everyone might not be planning on drinking so much. Too bad that it has to be every single person!

It might work on a sorority/fraternity cruise or something.
