Hello everyone! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas.
We will not have a group check in table, but I hope we want to meet up as a group on sail away day. I suggest we meet right after the muster drill. Sail away is usually just following. For those who have never sailed from Galveston the dolphins usually escort the ship out of the harbor and the best place to see them is aft. Due to weather I'm not sure where the best place may be, but as of now I would recommend Lido deck (deck 9) far aft near the Sky Bar. This has some protection from the elements and is next to the stairs and one deck below the open deck above. ALSO a bar! We can play it by ear from there. (I have some more group activities planned but that will be in another thread.)
Since we don't have a table feel free to come by my cabin - 8457 - located far aft on deck eight on sail away day anytime after 2:00 pm until muster drill. (BYOB) I have an aft balcony and we can 'hollar' over to the aft balconies of the Voyager of the Seas. (They dock aft to aft usually)
How does that sound for Sail Away day?
BTW--The Welcome Show is usually after late dinner and features one of my favorite cruise comdedians, Mark Rubben. Hopefully he will be on our cruise as he is almost always on the Conquest. I'll try to find out--he is excellent.
