Email access on Serenity

We will be on the Mediterranean Cruise (Venice to Rome) this coming summer, July 2004. What can we expect in terms of charges when we access the Internet. We have a Yahoo account, but want to know what it will cost when we try to receive business attachments via your systems whether by dataport in a statement.or in your computer lab on the Cyrstal Serenity. 1- What is the cost to access the Internet from using our own computer? 2- What is the cost using your computer lab?

Internet access is probably the most discussed thing about Crystal. Their charges are far too high when compared to other cruise lines. You are charged for amount of Kbs downloaded, so if accessing Yahoo, you could rack up some huge charges, as Yahoo is very Kb heavy. Just to access their main page could run you more than $10. Crystal has instituted a program where you pay $30 a day for three hours a day access, but that's even way out of line with other lines. Celebrity has package deals where you purchase bulk minutes for a reasonable amount.
