Default Computer/Internet question

In anticipation of an upcoming cruise on the Serenity we've been trying to get some information regarding the charges for simply using an Internet connection to contact a webmail site to pick up and send our email. Crystal's brochures refer to such an arrangement but only indicate that it is avaiable, there is no mention of the cost. For ordinary email directly between individuals , the charge is based on message size.

The information we are getting from our TA and line has been confusing, so we were wondering if someone here might have had firsthand experience with the arrangements on Crystal.

To send or receive an email, it is generally $2.75 but if you cc or bcc anyone, it is as if it were an individually sent email. To use the internet, they have a per minute charge, a charge for 1/2 hour, and a full hour charge (you must select what you want in advance); also a $30 per day charge (you are charged for every day whether you use it or not) for which you may sign up. On your emabarkation day, go to the Computer University center and speak to the attendant. That person will set you up with an account and discuss the various selections you may pick.

Thanks for the information. A bit involved, isn't it? No wonder our TA couldn't get it straight.

Interesting though. I understand that Holland America charges a flat rate of $55 for 100 minutes, and we were recently on the SevenSeas Navigator who had a package: $40 for 10 hours.
