Crystal is Dramatically Reducing Its Prices - Wanna Try It?

Crystal has a great product with many benefits from excellent service and cuisine to probably the best enrichment programs at sea and pretty interesting itineraries. Coupled with its now having open seating by reservation (along with fixed seating) and significant onboard credits ("As You Wish"), the one hiccup has been its charging suite-type pricing for nicely appointed cabins.

It has been for years a product that the top accommodations had good value, but the balcony and oceanview folks have had difficulty justifying the cost.

Crystal is finally making the move to reduce its pricing! It just announced some really serious price reductions on many sailings...reductions in excess of $1,000 per person.

If you prefer larger ships to what the other luxury lines offer, it may just be that now Crystal can compete and draw Celebrity and Holland America passengers.

Kuki is cruising on Crystal Symphony at the end of April , ironically the week after I am.

Does this price reduction make any of you consider cruising on Crystal?

I will definitely be considering Crystal with these price reductions.

I especially like the European itineraries with lots of days in port.

There are plenty of penthouses that are very roomy, with huge walk-in closets, jacuzzi tubs, separate showers, double sinks and so comfortable kingsize beds.

The verandahs are plenty big enough for a lobster dinner served by your butler.

I am for Crystal - the food is very good and the service is excellent. I like the combination of a bigger ship in the luxury sector. More to do during days at sea.
