What type of daytime activities does the QE2 provide on Transatlantic crossings? Are they anything like the usual acrtivities on a Caribbean cruise? Incidentally, we're booked westward in June, in M2, so I guess that's considered "steerage," but we'll still be on the same ship as the elite.
The QE2 is a classless ship, M2 only relates to your choice of cabin and where you dine. Other than this you have the same facilities as all on board. Not sure about the entertainment transatlantic but on the recent Africa cruise we did not have time to fit in all that was available.Have a great cruise.
Transatlantic programs each day in December were excellent. A great mix. Lectures on history of ship which I didn't think I would enjoy but just became fasicinated by. The mystery author Barbara Parket gave three lectures during the trip. There were game lessons (cards mostly) everyday. There were dance lessons each morning. An afternoon and evening movie. Worship services available daily.
I found I had to pick and choose what I really wanted to schedule myself for. The great thing is that if you are interested in a program that is offered on a particular day and you can't get to it or decide to do something else, all the lectures and talks are shown throughout the evening on the television in your cabin.
I was never bored that is for sure!
Have a wonderful trip.Colin wrote:
