Room Service?

What is room service like? Do they serve the same food as the restaurants?

Has anyone ordered dinner in their room instead of eating in the restaurant?

Also, how is the Mauritania Restaurant? Someone wrote a review saying one should pay the extra for a Caronia cabin because the restaurant is much better, and the Mauritania is "ghastly".

The Mauritania is as fine a restaurant as you would find at a swanky resort. I had room service once for lunch and it was served quickly and presented as if I were in the restaurant. Happy Sailing

Haven't dined in the Mauritania but all I spoke to said it was ok. The only drawback I can see is the two sittings. Not sure that the first would be too early and a bit rushed, and the second too late to take in a show etc, whereas the other ones are one sitting so you can choose your own time to dine.
