Default Pre-booking shore excursions

Does anyone know how far in advance the shore excursion guide is mailed out to passengers? And can the excursions be pre-booked? Also, is there a booking service via the interactive T.V. once you are onboard? And....Is there information about tours on the interactive T.V.?

I asked a similar question DJ on the 6th of March and had no replies from this message board. Maybe we should contact Cunard. We won't be sailing until November so there's no real hurry to find out about excursions until later.
Cunard are likely to modify or change a few things on the QM2 as time goes by(e.g.the 30 dollar surcharge in the Todd English diner. There was no charge for this on the early sailings.) So perhaps shore excursions will be available earlier using their web site. Or they may issue an advanced booklet of S.E's with the ship's documents.

I spoke with my travel agent yesterday and she told me that after we pay in full, the documentation we receive will include a booklet describing the shore excursions and a way to pre book them. HTH

LucyDiamond, apparently we are sailing on the QM2 the same time as you (237 days away!). I am the "other half" of "Jameee" on above posting. Maybe we'll meet on board!

donna,

Yes, it looks like we're on the same cruise. I'm going with a group from New Jersey that is providing transportation to the pier. I don't know if I'm more excited about sailing the QM2 or the fact that I don't have to deal with airports. <g> It should be a GREAT cruise.

Which cruise are you going on, Lucy? We're going transatlantic on the Royal Mediterannean from NYC to Southampton, then the "Royal" and then back again transatlantic in early October...

Your trip sounds wonderful. We're going to the Caribbean sailing in and out of NYC leaving on Nov. 6.
