Having sailed to many hot climates, we decided to do the Norwegian Fjords this August. Does anyone know what sort of Weather to expect this time of year and is it a case of packing more warmer clothes than shorts and tee shirts? We understand that the scenery is magnificent.
Also having sailed on QM2 in May this year, I would just like to say that we had a great time and loved it. However we do agree to some extent that there are some service issues in the Britania restaurant but this is all new and is naturally going to take some time to get up to QE2 efficiency. It has not put us off and will certainly travel on QM2 again. The service we received in the Britania was certainly better than on P& O's Aurora last year.
We just came off the QM2 Fjords cruise. Take plenty of warm clothes and raingear. We had both kinds of weather but were never able to wear shorts. Always had on slacks both on and off the ship. It was marvelous. So, so very beautiful. I am envious.
