Default Mandarin Oriental

I know I have already asked this but i have to book soon so..... has anyone stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in new york, i know its pretty expensive but i thought it would be a good start to my QM2 cruise. i dont know anyone who has stayed here and would be greatfull for any feedback. The other cunard hotel packages are Le Parker merdian, warldorf and st.regis , would any of these be a better bet?

thanks Lisa

all are good.. i've been in them but not really stayed.. waldorf and st regis are oldest i believe, Parker Meridian sometimes has good discount rates.. but these wouldn't apply probably to Cunard package.. if i were staying, guess i would pick mandarin.. but you are right.. it is expensive

You have a tough choice in that hotel group. I live in NYC and am partial to the areas where the St. Regis, Parker Meridian and the Mandarin are located. For me that would eliminate the Waldorf. The Mandarin is new and in a hot location in the Time Warner building with it's lovely shops and restaurants. The Parker Meridian is a very sleek hotel with a great indoor pool and health club. Either of these hotels would be a great start to your trip.
