Default Napkin Folding Class on QM2--Better Than You'd Think!

Hi Ladies AND GENTLEMEN!

Just wanted to encourage anyone who is even the least bit inclined to attend the Napkin Folding class onboard. It's held in the Champagne Bar (was there for the 1/3 cruise), and it is very fun. There were about 30 women and 2 men, and the gal who gave the class was a riot. She taught us some great patterns, but most of all, she was like a young Julia Child--accent and all. It was a classic Cunard moment!

This class is always a hoot! A few years back, a tablemate and I went to it on QE2 in the Grand Lounge (seats were hard to come by). At lunch that day, we entertained our other tablemates with napkin folding techniques. Mine were a disaster, but his were great as he had learned then all while serving in the Air Force and working on special ceremonies and dinners. Of waiter even got into the act and demonstrated the folds I was messing up. We had tons of laughs at lunch that day!

The hoot sounds like Maureen Ryan. No one afloat can do it any better.
