Default Is this too early to be excited?

We are not sailing until October 20th and I am already getting excited! Should I try valium? I really can't wait to be back on board. Is anyone else on this NY-Southampton crossing?

Never too early to get excited!

I'm in my early teens, and I am looking forward to my voyage on QM2... which will be during the summer of 2012!

Seven and a half years away, and I still can't wait :-p

See you on board! Check out my pics in the gallery Southampton - Athens, it'll give you an idea of what to expect. We'll meet up for a drink in the golden lion! Oh, get yourself a coountdown clock as well!

Lexxity.... if I may ask....

I have heard things that QM2 doesn't feel like you're on an ocean liner at all while you're at sea. Is there any truth to this? Are vibration and rocking so slight that it'd be believeable that you were in a hotel rather than on a ship, if you didn't know otherwise?

Thanks,
John

Hi Lexxity, we are on a rt crossing on 4/22 and are planning on the 10/20 rt as well. I have been trying to figure out how you got the "walking dog" on your posts....can you help me figure it out? 79 days and I'm outta here, at least I know that much.
Thanks, Laura

To John Z:

I found that the QM2 rocked and vibrated very much--and this was on a Caribbean cruise in apparently calm seas. Everybody was complaining of queasiness. Suddenly the last day--with no visible change in sea conditions--the rocking stopped, which made me wonder if the captain only then turned on the "stabilizers" or whatever they are.

During a brief QM2 trip last May, it was so smooth I hardly knew I was on a boat. So who knows?
