QE2 2007 World Cruise

Just booked single QE2 Caronia cabin for the full 2007 world cruise as my retirement gift to myself. Have been on the ship 14 times but wondering what the singles experinece (I will be 55) is like on an extended cruise. I am a bit leery. I was on a transatlantic in 2003 and took a table for 2 for myself and was happy. Anyone with ex;perience/recommendations for a longer cruise? Is a larger table a better bet? Thanks for the suggestions.

Personally, if I was travelling by myself I would dine at a table with at least six people. One of the joys of cruising is going to dinner every night and sharing the day's adventures with your table mates.

Especially since you are on the world cruise it might get lonely being by yourself for four months.
