QE2 Bremerhaven Refit

I have recently noticed that the Bridge Cam for the QE2 currently indicates a refit in Bremerhaven is underway. Has anyone information on the extent and/or nature of the work being performed

I have just come off QM2 on Friday. The ship is in dock to remove the propulsion pod that was damaged at the start of its South American voyage. The resultant hole in the hull will be sealed and the ship will run on three pods until the damaged one has been repaired and replaced. I have heard several dates for the replacement, but I think this will be in November when it probably has a scheduled dry dock.

Thanks Paul for the update, however, the question was about the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) and not the Queen Mary 2 (QM2). Anyone else with some news?

Sorry for the mistake - I should read things more carefully. The ship came off its world cruise yesterday and the next cruise isn't due until the 9th. May. I guess it would be a routine annual docking.

Hi, I gather there was to be new equipment fitted in the kitchens, and these were to be inserted through a cut out in the ships side

, aside from that not sure what else is happening to the old girl.
The web cams are a great improvement l must admit and a long overdue
