Default were you crewing on board QE2 between 1994 & 1997?

I am trying to contact some old ship mates to yap about the wild parties and illegal sojourns into passenger cabins during that time.

Love to hear from you.

Rob

I don't think you find this people here ... but why not ?
I know someone who was on QE 2 in 1996, towards USA (from Southampton), and I know there's too much illegal passengers in this line (the most).
I'll ask, but maybe ...

Rob -- Hope you do find some of your old ship mates to yap with; meanwhile, your post raises something in my mind. On "the other" fan site, cruisecritic.com, a month or so ago I read a thread wherein someone suddenly was speaking about "the good times" on QE2 back on two-desk aft. Something about rousing times.

I have looked for the thread since, I cannot find it ... but the thought haunts. Another post mentioned that in the original plans for the ship, and into the original build, there was to be a third-class entry or lounge two-deck aft and when the ship went two-class, then converted to a one-class liner, that large space on two-deck was just left .... large.

But "good times", there, rather in the middle of nowhere? When? How?Do you know of any of this? Perhaps you and your lads on then are what gave the poster such good memories?

I've never heard of any pub or cabin crawls in that area. Do you know anything of this?

Fuz

Rob,

I don't know about illegal sojourns and all that, but I was a staff member on the QE2 from 1995 - 1996. Did the 96 World Cruise! Amazing time of my life! Miss it much!

Cheers and maybe we ran into each other!
