Any duty free shops at Southampton???

I am wondering if thier are any duty free shops at the pier in southampton? I alwys miss shopping in the ones in Canada, and I am curious as to what is sold in these.

I only know the Queen Elizabeth II terminal (there are two others) and as of my last visit there in July last year, there are no duty free shops - just a bar selling drinks and sandwiches.

We did not see any shops. We were through and on board quite fast.

Hi BillVas, no there are no duty free shops at any of the cruise terminals in Southampton, however if you are flying in to Heathrow, there used to be a small selection about halfway between the plane & the luggage collection point.

I've never been on the QM2 and will be taking it on Oct 31. Is there any duty free shops on board the ship? Are the prices reasonable?

Hi there,

There are the usual duty free shops on the QM2, carrying a reasonable selection of goods. They are priced in USD, so there will not be any nasty shocks due to the weakness of the Dollar.

Shops enough from expensive to the usual souverniers.
All goes to your on board accont which for us as newbies two years ago was a lesson in not too much shopping. Sometimes rather a surprise when you get the bill.
