Has anyone booked a cruise with vacationstogo.com? If so, was it a good experience?

I have used them for many years and have found some good values with them. Always call and get acquainted with a Personal Rep. Sometimes they have specials not listed on the website.

Hi Sahaj
What were the names of some of your earlier ships ? Ever been on the Aquatania ? I was on her final voyage and remember the decor surprisingly well. Not unlike the Titanic in all it's splendour. We are also on the right side of 50.

Just booked with them for a med cruise. Much cheaper than via European Cruise agencys and very nice polite reps. Still must wait and see what the cruise is like but the service is up to now good.

I used them for a transatlantic Royal Caribbean cruise in April, and another transatlantic Queen Mary 2 cruise in June this year. I had a single cabin on the Queen Mary at first, changed it to a double later (about 1 1/2 months before departure). There were some issues with the amount that Cunard had quoted for the extra passenger, but the VacationsToGo's rep did all he could to solve this. All in all it was a very good experience, and the rep was very helpful and polite.

This is Penny. We mailed about shareing a cabin last year.
I thought the QM2 only had double cabins and no single. I am curious as I am travelling once again next year on her to America and my husband will probably fly out so I will be alone. Is there a surcharge or how does it work. I also want to book via Vacationstogo.

i wouldnt book with vacationstogo.com i knew a guy that did and someone there stole his cc info. maybe this isnt the case for everyone but i still wouldnt do it.

For the past couples of days, Ive been trying to book a cruise on the QM2 with Orbitz. They gave me a very low price, however were never able to book it. Finally, this morning, they said they'd book it, however it was double there original price. I was reading this post and thought I'd give vacationstogo.com a call. They matched the price and booked it within 5 minutes of my call. I am very happy and will use them for future bookings. My partner and I are now booked on the QM2, Oct 31 sailing out of NY. Thanks
