First time posting, although I have been reading various boards for sometime.
Just booked a category Q5 for the May 21st EB TA on QM2. Whne they asked if I wanted to be put down for an automatic upgrade should one become available I said sure.
Now, and upgrade from Q5 would be to Q4, one of the Penthouse Suites. So I'm not holding my breath on that one, but sometimes some pretty wacky upgrades do happen. Anybody know of any -- or a reason I should keep hope alive?
You never know, last December we booked a "stowage class" stateroom on Queen Victoria, and the offer we had upgraded us to an obstructed outside view, whcich we thought was nice. But when the tickets arrived, they had yet another room number on them, and we had been upgraded again to a balcony.
We were on the Winter Wonderlands, so not much sunbathing to be had, but some lovely sail-ins & the change to grab a drink & watch the world go by between sailaway parties & the evening meal as we were getting changed.
Keep your fingers, crossed, be good and you never know what the Upgrade Fairy may deliver
